Peter Dyke, Head of Industry Liaison, Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC)
How national and local organisations can work better together to optimise Benefit Delivery at scale through the health and care system.
The structure of the health and social care market presents some significant challenges in terms of aligning the work of both public and private sector bodies at local and national level with those of the private sector ICT suppliers that support them. However, the system is not infinitely complex and better outcomes can be achieved if we understand the benefit delivery chain via the supplier community, and recognise that ultimately all parties have one goal – patient and citizen benefit – in mind.
Peter will be happy to answer your questions on how the HSCIC works with suppliers to help allow them and their customers derive the most benefit from the national services that HSCIC runs. This topic should be of interest to all health and care stakeholders: Staff, Patients, System Users and System Providers alike.
Peter Dyke is currently Head of Industry Liaison for the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) having been on the customer side of delivery since 2003. Before this he was Head of Strategy and Marketing for BT Health and a former chair of the IT supplier industry association health council (now techUK).
